Create An Emotional Blueprint

How will you feel once you have what you want? Do you know most of the time we are clueless what feelings we’re after when we desire something? Our manifesting tip of the day is to create an emotional blueprint for whatever it is you’re deeply desiring.

As Hicks often says we all want something because of how it will make us feel. So what does having what you want going to make you feel? Sit with your journal and brainstorm what feelings you’re expecting to get in return for achieving your desired goal.

Once you have your list of feelings then pick the top three desired feelings. Let’s say it’s passion, adventure, and fun. Then think of different things you can do each day to infuse your day with those feelings.

Why? Because Law of Attraction says like attracts like. And feelings are our honing signal which activates the Law of Attraction to draw experiences, people, things, and circumstances to us. When you’re doing your daily visualization remember to focus on seeing yourself feeling these feelings. Include them in your scripts and actually allow yourself to feel the feelings as you’re imagining having what you desire.

Let’s say your emotional blueprint for wanting a relationship is because you believe it will bring you feelings of passion, adventure, and freedom and it’s not right here right now for the taking then go out and do other things to generate these feelings and the Universe will deliver you more and more experiences to add to those feelings. And then you’ll look up and notice that the one you deeply desire is there beside you sharing in the passion, adventure, and fun with you.

Why? Because Law of Attraction states “that which is like unto itself is drawn”. Try it! Create your emotional blueprint for your desire today.

Emit Your Own Frequency

In life we can allow what’s outside us to dictate and govern our thoughts aka be reactive. Or we can allow what’s inside of us to dictate and govern our thoughts aka be creative.
Far too often we are in a reactive state instead of a creative state. Whenever we allow external things to cause us to entertain negative thoughts, we put into action a poisonous chemical activity of a disintegrating nature, that dumbfounds our sensibilities and deadens our nerve actions, causing the mind and body to become negative and therefore subject to many ills.
On the flip side when we are in a positive state we put into action a healthy chemical activity of a constructive nature, causing the mind and body to become free from  many ills due to discordant thoughts.
The nature of our thoughts impact the frequency we emit and thus determines the kind of conditions and experiences with which we will meet; what we put into life is what we get out of life – no more, no less.
Either way whether we choose to live from a reactive stance or creative stance, we still are emitting mental frequencies that are as real as electric, magnetic, or heat currents according to Charles F. Haanel. And I wholeheartedly concur with him that we attract the currents/frequencies with which we are in harmony.
I don’t know about you but I choose to emit my own frequency and live from a state that is creative and intentionally draw to me the things, situations, people, and/or circumstances that I desire.  Join me in my next post when I will share a six step plan on how to emit your own frequency and raise your dominant vibration.

Make Your Vision Clear

One of the best ways to make your vision clear is to have a visual representation of it.  I personally find mind movies to  be more powerful than the traditional vision boards.  What is a mind movie?  It’s a collection of images that represent you having what you want or becoming who you want to be accompanied by a song that gets you in the mood of having your vision come true.

I find it to be most powerful to watch it right before I go to bed at night and then again in the morning before I wake up.  It ends up being like a mini video.  I typically select anywhere from 15-20 images so that it’s no longer than 2 minutes.  It has to be short, sweet, and to the point so that you’ll be inspired to watch it daily.  I use Microsoft Photo Story 3.  But you can google and find the software that best works for you.

If making a mind movie doesn’t fit into your schedule then make an electronic vision board using pinterest or Having the visual images and spending time each day interacting with them activates your mind and gets your subconscious mind busy doing what it does best…attracting, drawing and problem solving.

And the bonus is the visual images redirects your conscious mind from all the checks and balances and keeping it “real” for you. It takes courage to allow yourself to get swept away in enthusiasm and anticipation of your miracle unfolding. But that’s what faith is all about.

Decide what you want and go for what’s yours in this life. Leap outside of your comfort zone. Consult your higher self and get reacquainted with your heart desires. This is an abundant universe and we were created by an omnipotent, illimitable, abundant, resourceful, all-powerful, infinitely intelligent God whose ways are not our ways.

Trust and believe and  power up your imagination and get reconnected to an infinite source of Divine love, ideas, connections, favor, protection, resources, inspiration, etc. That’s where our true happiness lies…being at one with our Divine Creator and having unerring trust that someway somehow it’s all gonna be alright!

Nothing is impossible to him who believes. Make it a powerful imaginative day!!!

Lessons from It Works

I read a book last year entitled “It Works” by RHJ.  It was a really good read and I did practice for a few days what was recommended in the book and then fell off the wagon.  While tidying up my room, I came across the book  again.  And was reminded of the lessons I learned from this book.

As many new thought authors, he too promotes the premise “If you KNOW what you WANT you can HAVE IT”.  It’s a very short book and  I found it to be very encouraging and it definitely charged my batteries and help me to be optimistic when I employed the three practices suggested by the author.

We’ve heard it time and time again that if we can train our waking mind (the mind we use each day) also referred to as the objective mind or conscious mind to decide definitely upon the things or conditions we desire, then that’s the first significant step toward getting what we want.

However from my studies we have to train it in such a way that it sends subtle, non-resistant thoughts to our subjective mind or sub-conscious mind to accept and believe it is true and to go to work on our behalf to draw these things to us.  Most authors concur that somehow someway there is an inner part of man that rendezvous with a powerful energy that is capable and willing to orchestrate on our behalf to bring to us every earnest desire of our objective mind.

However, if we only do it occasionally, half-heartedly, and/or oscillate in our thinking then we do not form a perfect connection or communication with this omnipotent powerful energy.  We must earnestly, sincerely, and honestly desire certain conditions or things whether it is mental, physical, or spiritual.

I believe this is the most challenging part to keep our waking minds focused and locked in on the target.  It has such a tendency to vacillate which only serves to water down our intentions to mere wishes and renders this wonderful, capable power impotent to function on our behalf.

If you are earnest about changing your present conditions, here are  some lessons I learned from this book that I encourage you to employ to aid in the actualization of your dreams:

  1. Decide what you want – this sounds much easier than it is.  To me deciding means you’re willing to make it a priority in regards to your attention.  In other words you’re willing to devote the time to focus on what you want in a positive way.  I’ve discovered that I put forth a very distinct effort and energy when I earnestly want something versus a like to have.
  2. Make a list – write a list of the things you desire and prioritize them by order of importance to you.  And commit to reading it morning, noon, and night and give no direct thought as to how it will come to pass.  Instead tune into your intuition so that you will recognize when you’re inspired to act.
  3. Think of it often – throughout your day think often of what it is you desire and engage your imagination to form a picture of the desired outcome.  Most importantly keep it positive and do not allow negative thoughts to creep in.
  4. Keep it private – do not talk to others about your plan.  Keep your plans/desires between you and the great power within you that communicates and connects with the higher omnipotent power.  As mention in lesson 2, this higher power will unfold to your objective mind the method of accomplishment.  The trick is to let it guide you instead of trying to tell it how it must be accomplished.

I don’t know about you but I’m going to do this at least until the end of the month and see what happens.  I like conducting experiments to see what works and what doesn’t.  I think it will be a good companion for my “Be Intentional” challenge this month.  What do you think?  Will you try it too?

Yes! You Can Choose Your Mood

Contrary to popular belief….Yes!  You can choose your mood no matter what.  I remember my first reaction to Tony Robbins when he indicated that we choose our moods.  I was like yeah right I choose my moods/emotions.  I don’t know what he is talking about so and so pissed me off or that person annoys me.  We give people waaaaaay to much credit for how we feel…both good and bad.

No person, situation and/or circumstance can cause us to feel a certain way.  We choose each and every day, intentionally or unintentionally, what mood we’re going to be in.  I resisted this knowledge for so long because I didn’t want to take full responsibility for my emotional landscape.  And at the end of the day I rendered myself a victim who was powerless and over-reactive.   All because I wanted to avoid the responsibility for my own mood.

For the last 3-4 months, I have been deliberately and consciously practicing to intentionally choose my mood no matter what.  Words cannot express how much better I feel overall and how much more clarity and focus I have experienced each day.  I refuse to give my personal power away like I used to do repeatedly in the past.  Our dominant thoughts control our emotions/moods.

When we change our dominant thoughts our mood changes.  Just like the cartoon indicates overthinking is a surefire way to land us in a bad mood.  Another thing I noticed too is that when I would overthink things and start speculating and personalizing other people’s actions as being intentionally directed against me,  that it would definitely trigger me to start feeling some type of way.

I’ve learned the hard way that it’s really best for me stay out of other people’s hea because I really have no way of knowing their true motivations unless they shared them with me.  Thought energy is our most valuable resource.  We can choose to spend it or invest it.

In my opinion, we spend it whenever we choose to go to the automatic negative and spiral ourselves into a bad mood because we have nothing to show for our thought energy except attracting more things into our experience to worsen our bad mood.  We invest it whenever we choose to focus on the things we want, giving the benefit of the doubt, and expecting the best from others because we will attract more things into our experience to add to our good mood.

At the end of the day, this is truly what law of attraction is about…the energy we put out will attract like energy.  Put out bad mood energy and attract more bad mood energy.  Put out good mood energy and attract more good mood energy.  Abraham Hicks promotes setting your intention for the day when it comes to your emotions/moods.

I have conducted several experiments with this concept and it works.  Try it for the next 30 days.  Keep a note pad by your bedside and first thing in the morning when you arise decide which five emotions you choose to feel throughout the day and list five things you plan to do that day to ensure you’re in a good mood.

For example, “Today it is my dominant intention to feel energetic, loving, optimistic, cheerful, and playful. I will do the following to make me feel good today: 1 – go for a 15 minute walk, 2 – take a long hot bubble bath by candlelight, 3 – listen to upbeat music for an hour, 4 – send a thinking of you card to a friend or family member, 5 – meditate”.

Keep a mood journal for 30 days.  In this journal record your dominant intention first thing in the morning and how you intend to make yourself feel good.  Then rate yourself in the evening on a scale of 1-10 on how well you did in achieving your goal and any notable insights/observations concerning how your day went.

Life is what we make it and Yes!  You can choose your mood.  So why not choose a good one!

Build Confidence and Destroy Fear

Who do you think you are?  Our actions tell us more about who we think we are and what we believe we deserve than what we say with our words.  So many times in life we strike out to reach goals without understanding the who behind the what.  What do I mean by that?  I had a client once who emphatically stated she was going to be a millionaire.

It sounded good but it was quite evident that she lacked the confidence in believing she was a millionaire.  She failed to adequately prepare her confidence in who she was in order to be the millionaire she desired to be.  All confidence is acquired, developed.  No one is born with confidence.

In her case confidence would’ve come if she took the time to understand who is a millionaire.  The only difference between who we are and what we want be become are our mindsets.  And self-talk repeated day in and day out is what creates our mindsets.

Who we believe we are governs our actions, and the more actions we take to reinforce the mindset of who we want to become the quicker we will become it.  For instance in the case of my client, I asked her “so as a millionaire who much money will you make each month, each week, each day?”  She couldn’t tell me.

I also asked her, “How often do you go shopping?  Does your shopping match the patterns of a millionaire or a day laborer?”  I’m pretty sure millionaires go shopping far more often than day laborers.  Why?  Because they have money to spend so they won’t stop themselves from going shopping because they don’t have any enough money.

What about investments?  I’m pretty sure a millionaire is pretty savvy on investing and/or knows how to spot a good investor.  What activities do they participate in?  Again, I’m sure the average millionaire’s leisure time looks drastically different than a day laborer.

Am I suggesting that you go out and have champagne taste on a Kool-Aid income?  Most certainly not.  However, I am suggesting that you can acquire the mindset via your imagination.  There is nothing stopping you from going shopping with your fake money and pretending you are spending.

There is nothing stopping you from identifying the lifestyle habits and mindsets of millionaires.   In this case one way to build confidence would be to determine which occupations are most often held by millionaires.  And finding the answers to the following questions, where do they typically live geographically?  Where is the location of their homes within those cities?

How do they entertain in their homes? What leisure activities do they participate in? What about fine arts? What type of cars do they drive typically?  Where/how do they most often vacation?  How do they participate in community involvement?

What’s their education?  What clubs and organizations do they belong?  Which committees and boards are they involved?  The list goes on.  By taking time to understand the mindset of who you want to become increases confidence and destroy fears.

The more you understand the who behind the person you want to become and take action to become the person you want to be the more you’ll believe you are already the person you want to become. And the more action you  begin to take then the more action you’ll take automatically.  Want to be a millionaire?  Then think and act like a millionaire.

Want to be a wife/husband?  Then think and act like one.  Want to perfectly healthy?  Then think and act like a healthy person.  Want to be fit?  Then think and act like a fit person.  Albert Einstein nailed it when he said, “We can not solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.”

In other words, we can’t get to where we are going thinking in the same manner that landed us where we currently are.  Need help cultivating a plan of action to help build your confidence and eliminate your fears?  Click here and schedule your mentoring session today.
