Be Intentional!

new image

I love when the Universe provides me with confirmation that I am being guided in a certain direction.  It all started yesterday with a conversation with a good friend who was sharing her affirmations and how her intent to manifest was progressing.  I love it when someone has a catch phrase that stands out and sticks with me.

I had a serious ah-ha moment when she shared with me one of her affirmations.  She shared with me her affirmation was “I am a winner.  I win all kinds of things like sweepstakes, gift cards, lotteries, contests, etc.”  She went on to share with me how her manifestations were proving that her affirmations were working such as she had won free concert tickets by dialing into a radio show.  She further explained that she was able to get through to the radio station to win the tickets for two with her first call.

Additionally, she shared how she had won $15 from scratch offs which she never plays because  you immediately find out if you’ve won or not.  She was very enthusiastic as she recounted how life was dealing her a winning hand from different avenues.  Needless to say it also had me enthusiastic by the time I ended my call with her.

Unfortunately, overnight I slipped back into old habits and didn’t do anything intentional to carry these good feelings and thoughts over into the next day.  However, as I mentioned earlier I love it when the Universe gives me confirmation.  Today I decided to start back listening to two Hick’s audios on YouTube.  The one I listened to today reinforced this concept about being intentional and not slipping into the habit of allowing life to tell me how to think and feel and what to believe.

Abraham gave this affirmation to one of the participants and I absolutely loved it….“I’m going to be known as the good feeling girl because everywhere I go people around me that come into my vibrational vicinity will feel my positive vibration.  My vibration is dominating, my vibration is dominating, my vibration is dominating!  I am a powerful, creative, and invincible being with pure positive energy flowing from me.  I’m flying high because I choose to!”

I got goosebumps just listening to it.  Just imagine how one’s life would changed if a person affirmed this day in and day out.  The reinforced messaged I received from the Universe today is to be intentional!  I’ve marked off the next 28 days to be intentional about who I want to become, what I want to have, and what I want to do.  How about you?  Will you be intentional too?  What will be your affirmation of intent?

Polish Your Mind

pablo (24)

It seems as if it’s a natural tendency for the mind to want to keep itself busy feverishly jumping from one thing to the next.  Most of us would rather do almost anything rather than spend time in reflection and solitude.  Stephen Covey in 7 Habits of Highly Effective People included  Sharpen the Saw as the 7th Habit.  He outlines it as having a balanced program for self-renewal in the four areas of your life: physical, social/emotional, and spiritual.

The premise being that a woodsman can cut far more wood with less exertion and time with a sharpened saw than with a dull one.  Covey included the following activities for mental renewal: Learning, reading, writing, and teaching. I would like to extend this list and add  reflection to it.  I believe it is a critical part of being able to keep our minds polished and in tip-top shape.

It’s in reflection that we can measure our indicators of success and/or setbacks.   Margaret J Wheatley says “Without reflection we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences, and failing to achieve anything useful.”

It’s in reflection that we can formulate new ways to approach life’s problems.  As Albert Einstein said….”We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” Reflection can help us uncover our level of thinking and help us to understand the areas we may need assistance in order to grow.

It’s also in reflection that we better understand our shadow self.  It’s our shadow that so many times trips us up without us even recognizing its role in unwanted feelings, events, and circumstances.  Reflection can reveal to us our hidden fears, insecurities, emotional wounds and afford us the opportunity to heal them.

An unknown author said it quite well…”Self-reflection is a humbling process. It’s essential to find out why you think, say, and do certain things…then better yourself.”  And another unknown author believes that “Unless you learn to face your own shadows, you will continue to see them in others, because the world outside you is only a reflection of the world inside you.”

When we cultivate the habit of polishing our mind with reflection we become our best selves, we become more compassionate, we grow in courage and understanding, and we unleash the power within.  If you tend to jump from one thing to the next with out pausing for the cause, I encourage you to incorporate time to engage in reflection into your schedule.

Day 55 – Do Something About It!

“Don’t like it?  Well sitting around worrying, moaning, and complaining is not going to help you like any better.  So if you really don’t like it Do Something About It!  Either act or accept.  Focus on change and the results will follow.”

This is the conversation I had to have with myself today because I was allowing myself to become stagnate and was ceasing to take action in my life.  Consequently I was starting to feel very negative and stuck. This is why I love Dale Carnegie’s quote so much:

Inaction breeds doubt and fear.  Action breeds confidence and courage.  If you wan to conquer fear, do not sit and think about it. Go out and get busy.

It seems as if I have two natures within me the one that wants to take massive action and knows without a doubt that I can take what I have and make it what I want and the other part of me that moans, groans, complains and wants to sit around and do nothing.

I found myself being pulled within me by these two very natures.  But, I decided to heed to Napoleon Hill’s words..”I must take possession of my mind.”  And, the way I do that is to voluntarily plant the seeds of things I desire in my subconscious mind, plan, and take massive action.

Another thought occurred to me too and that is I must replace the fear of the unknown with curiosity.  I guess that’s why the old adage says “to leave no stone unturned.”  It’s time for me to take hold and live the words of Jack Dixon:

If you focus on results,
you will never change
If you focus on change,
you WILL get results.

So many different ways to say the same thing but at the end of the day if we don’t like something then we need to act and do something about it!  Or accept our conditions as is.  I’m recommitting and refocusing myself on doing something about it.  I invite you to do the same.

State your intention of what it is you want to see in terms of results. Then take out a piece of paper and ask yourself “How can I use what I have to get what I want?”  In other words what changes will move you towards achieving the results.  Then, commit to taking MASSIVE action towards changing.

If you really want to ensure you take massive action get out your calendar and write on each day one action you will take this week to move you towards the results you desire.  For instance, let’s say it’s weight loss.

A sample intention would be I intend to lose one lb this week.  Then on your piece of paper you write I can use water and drink 1/2 my body weight in ounces, I can use three servings of fruit and three servings of veggies and consume them daily, I can use my sneakers and walk at least 30 minutes each day.  Then measure your results at the end of the week.  Do this each week and inch by inch it’s a cinch.

The point is if we don’t do something about it then things will most certainly stay the same.  Chunk it down into daily actionable item steps.  Using actions to either change your procedure or to change your perception.  Sometimes both are needed.

I invite you to take one thing this week and make it your intent and focus to take massive action to do something about it!  As the ad slogan for Nike so eloquently says…..JUST DO IT!

Day 37 – Until NOT When…..

How many times have we heard and/or said “I will believe it when I see it.”  Well, scratch that.  No more buying into that type of thinking for me.  From now on, it will be “I will believe it UNTIL I see it!” It will be  UNTIL not when going forward.  Beliefs are nothing more than  thoughts we have accepted as true.  And, I’m 100% convinced we accept them as true because we have repeatedly told ourselves the same thoughts until we materialized the hard evidence in our physical realities to confirm our ingrained thoughts.  Thus accepting them as true.

Don’t believe me listen to people.  I mean really listen to people.  And, hear how they argue for their limitations.  For a bonus activity, listen to yourself.  Sadly more often than not most of us do this.  Listen to how deeply ingrained these limited beliefs are and how these thoughts materialize into hard evidence for us over and over again.  I had an overall enjoyable evening out with a friend.  Her lament is always about how there are no good men out here, how men don’t speak, how men do this or don’t that, blah, blah, blah, blah.

You can definitely tell there is an unwritten belief that she will believe there are good men out here who are available to her when she sees it.  Boink!  Wrong answer because it’s not going to happen.  As long as she holds on to those type of beliefs for dear life there will be no when I see it.  And, no matter how much I try to convince her she has to change her beliefs first, she simply will not believe me and will argue for her relationships limitations even more fervently.

I can see it so clearly now.  I have read much about Law of Attraction, Deliberate Creation, and Law of Allowing.  I have listened to countless audios on how to make changes and create the life you desire.  I have read and listened to countless interviews of people who have defied the odds to achieve huge success.  But as I said in Day 36 post…it seemed as if faith was something random..either you have it or you don’t.

Not anymore.  I believe the great folks who have unlocked the magic formula forgot to share the real ingredient….which is believe it UNTIL you see it!  That’s where the real juice and driving force behind manifesting.  So in the case of my girlfriend, she needs to change her stinking thinking to “there are plenty of good men who I’m capable of having a long lasting, rewarding, and satisfying relationship with” and override the limited beliefs she has concocted in her mind.

If it’s financial freedom.  Then one would need to repeatedly say until it becomes reality that God/Universe is abundant and there is plenty of money to be had by all including me.  The same person would benefit greatly by naming the amount they would like to receive and go to bed each night counting their thousand dollar bills over and over and over again until they drift off to sleep.  Another practice to help believe it until they saw it would be to start connecting with the things the money would buy them.

If it’s a brand new shiny car, then they need to go and test drive it.  Research the insurance, maintenance costs, and tag fees so they know exactly the amount they need and going thru the exact motions as if they are actually purchasing it.  God/Universe has infinite resources and it’s about time we embrace this knowledge.  Jesus was a perfect example of demonstrating the concept of believing it UNTIL you see it.  He believed he could walk on water so he did.  He believed he could turn water into wine so he did.  He believed that he could heal the sick so he did.  He believed he could multiply the loaves and fish so he did. He believed he could raise the dead so he did.

He believed that he had access to the abundance, infinite intelligence, and the transformative powers that belong to God/Universe.  He also knew in order to activate it that unwavering belief was needed.  Therefore, there will be no more excuses for me.  I am now convicted that joy comes from within.  I am now convinced that no person, thing, or place will make me happy.  I am not convinced that I have the power to create the life I want that is congruent with my internal bliss by believing it UNTIL I see.

It took me 37 days of practicing manifesting to have this ah-ha moment.  Therefore, I’m going to extend my challenge another 40 days to practice believing it UNTIL I see it.  I invite you to join me in practicing believing it UNTIL you see it.  One fair warning…be prepared because I believe it will happen so fast that it will make your head spin.  Things will come together so quickly that you will nothing short of amazed.  Be prepared to receive your abundance.  Cheers!

Day 35 – Put It On Replay

repetitionMany will say that the reason our desires don’t manifest is because we don’t believe it will happen for us.  They go on to say you can do affirmations and say it to yourself over and over again but if you don’t believe it then you’re wasting your time.  For the longest time this has caused great confusion for me  while studying the laws of the Universe and manifesting.  Furthermore, how does this school of thought help us to believe?  It didn’t help me and left me with the impression real belief was random and either you had it or you didn’t have it.

I listen to some audios posted on a blog entitled “Jim Carrey’s 5 Tips for Creating your Reality” and while I felt inspired…I also felt hopeless because once again I was left feeling like real belief was random and either you had it or you didn’t have it.  This was not a  good feeling especially when I was already struggling with my faith today.  So I start to ponder on this key ingredient: Faith or Believing.

I now belief the secret to having faith/belief is repetition.  We believe in our fears through repetition and it is repetition that I believe will deliver us from our fears into the hands of faith.  I’m sure most of us have heard if you tell yourself something enough then you will start to believe it.  Instead of putting negative thoughts of fear on replay we need to put positive thoughts of faith on replay.

And, from my research the optimum time to put it on replay is last thing before going to sleep and first thing upon awakening.  When  I was doing this and my faith was strongest but I feel off the wagon before it became habit.  I suppose this is why the Bible admonishes us to pray without ceasing.  And, why many religions advocate prayer before bedtime and first thing upon arising in the morning.

My grandfather mastered this habit and he was an exceptional man with impeccable character and many achievements.  It will be back to basics for me: putting positive thoughts of faith on replay.  And, to stop falling off the wagon when signs start to emerge that my desires are about to unfold.

Here are some quotes about repetition from well known successful people and thought leaders:

Earl Nightingale: “Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion day, will one day become a reality.”

Brahma: “Frequent repetition of the same types of thoughts creates your beliefs and attitudes.  What you believe comes true for you.”

Norman Vincent Peale: “Repetition of the same thought or physical action develops into a habit which, repeated frequently enough, becomes an automatic reflex.”

Napoleon Hill: “Any idea, plan, or purpose may be placed in the mind through repetition of thought.”

Muhammad Ali: “It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief.  And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.”

Deepok Chopra: “It takes time and repetition to cause long-term balance to shift, but they will.”

Aristotle:We are what we repeatedly do.  Excellence then, is not an act but a habit.”

Bruce Lee: “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”

R. Collier: “Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.”

Tony Robbins: “Repetition is the mother of skill.”

Day 30 – Are you Experimenting Enough?!?

Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions.  All life is an experiment.  The more experiments you make the better. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Being alive is an amazing experience!  And, one surefire way to develop a life of value filled with joy and happiness that is entirely OURS outside of  relationships, jobs, family, etc is to get excited about what’s all out there in life and embrace experimenting with our lives.

Seeing life as an adventure in this way infuses it with joy, passion, and happiness.  We need to stop shortchanging ourselves and living our lives in quiet desperation as Henry David Thoreau said going to the grave with the song still in us.  The single most important thing we need to remember is life begins at the end of our comfort zoneThe real juice in life is finding something  we love to do and learn everything we can about it, trying new things, and exploring new places.

Variety truly is the spice of life.  When we allow routine and comfort to take the wheels and go on autopilot doing basically the same things day in and day out, we’re mentally allowing ourselves to take the back seat in our own lives. Consequently, putting us in a situation where we are no longer deliberately choosing our paths in life, but being chosen by them.

Don’t let this happen! The reason we allow these kinds of thoughts in our heads is because they make us feel better by giving us a false sense of security through our need to have certainty in our lives.  But, we also have a polar opposite need for uncertainty too.  The truth is this type of living is only masquerading as a feel-good kind of life, when in reality while we may feel complacent, we are also bored and have way too much time on our hands to feed our doubts and fears.

By being proactive and taking control, really taking control, we have a better shot at discovering what makes us genuinely happy, what sets our souls on fire, and what emblazons pure red-hot passion within us by experimenting with our lives.  I agree with Mark Twain when he said “Twenty years form now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.  So throw off bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore – Dream – Discover!”

Eleanor Roosevelt said it best….

The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.

Life is calling each of us ….how high will you FLY???  Life is about choices.  How many new ones are you willing to choose?   Life isn’t about finding ourselves. It’s about creating ourselves.  Are you willing to experiment to become the person you want to be?  Living the life you want to live?  Life is about using the whole box of crayons and coloring outside of the lines as well as inside of the lines.

Robin Sharma said “When you see yourself as a powerful creator of your conditions, you’ll see opportunities to get to your goals-and dreams- all around you.” I wholeheartedly agree with her because what we seek is seeking us.   It’s time for us to sing the song that is within us to the top of our lungs!  It’s time for us to play outside the lines!  It’s time for us to move outside of our comfort zones!  It’s time for us to have fun and excitement!  It’s time for us to experiment!!

Are you experimenting enough?

best dayDid you enjoy this article?  If so, click like and let me know.  Or better yet leave a comment….I would love hearing from you.  To sweeten the pot for each comment or like received for this article I will try a new experiment in life outside my comfort zone this summer.  HA!  Encourage me to experiment more. 😉

Day 27 – Get the Action Habit

Your dream will change your daily actions and take you to places that you have never seen or considered before. – John Di Lemme

Joel Barker said “Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time.  Vision with action can change the world.” I agree with him.  There is plenty of room at the top because far too often people lack the ability to get things done, to get results.

Excellent ideas are not enough – they require execution.  The successful are action-oriented people.  They are doers.  However, the just average, the mediocre, the unsuccessful are passive.  They lack the ability to discipline and train their thinking in a way that regulates their actions.

How important is your vision/deepest desire?  Steve Job says “If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed.  The vision pulls you.”  If what he says is true then our deepest desires should propel us into action.  We should start seeing it consume us, regulating our daily actions to move us closer to our goals.  If at this point, we are not being pulled by our vision then the question becomes is it exciting to us to achieve it?  Do we really care about achieving it?

If the answer is yes to both questions and we’re not taking daily consistent actions towards our goals.  Then we need to revisit the posts “Day 24 – Sell Yourself First”, “Day 13 – I Write the Program”, “Day 9 – Act or Accept”, and “Do You Really Want It?” because our desire hasn’t transformed into a definite purpose yet.

Action oriented people get the things done they want done, and as by-products they gain confidence, a feeling of inner security, self-reliance, and more income.  Passive oriented people don’t get things done they want done because they won’t act.  As by-products they lose confidence in themselves, destroy their self-reliance, and live in mediocrity.

stumbling blocks

I believe we all want to be action oriented people.  So let’s get the action habit!  There are several stumbling blocks to taking action that we need to be aware of and overcome.  And they are as follows:

action 4

  1. Don’t wait until conditions are perfect. They never will be.  So to wait for the perfect set of conditions is to wait forever. Expect future obstacles and difficulties and solve them as they arise.  Dr Schwartz hit the nail on the head when he said “The test of a successful person is not an ability to eliminate all problems before they arise.  We must be willing to make an intelligent compromise with perfection lest we wait forever before taking action.  It’s still good advice to cross bridges as we come to them.”

action 5

2. Think in terms of now.  Tomorrow, next week, later and similar words often are synonymous with the failure word never.  Be an “I’m starting right now” kind of person.  There is no time like the present.  Why put off until tomorrow what we can do today? Be like the Nike slogan……”JUST DO IT!”  Remember oftentimes the stopping is the starting.

action 3

3. Be someone who get things done.  Be a doer, not a “don’t-er”. Use action to cure fear and gain confidence.  Do what you fear and fear disappears.  Just try it and see.   Seize the initiative.  Be a crusader.  Pick up the ball and run.  Be a volunteer. Show that you have the ability and ambition to do.  Remember ideas alone won’t bring success.  Ideas have value only when you act upon them.

action 1

4. Jump right in and get going.   Rather than think about the unpleasant feature of the task, jump right in and get going without a lot of deliberation.  The stopping is in the starting and the only way to start is to start!  Don’t wait for the spirit to move you.  Take action, dig in, and you move the spirit.  Get down to business–pronto!  Don’t waste time getting ready to act.  Start acting instead.

I invite you to join me in adopting this motto….”I’ll start now, right now.”

Day 25 – The “Likeablilty” Factor

Here is a fundamental rule for winning in life.  Let’s imprint it in our minds and remember it.  The rule is: Success depends on the support of other people.    In most walks of life we rely on the support of others to achieve our personal goals.

An executive depends on people to carry out his instructions.  If the executive is unsuccessful, the company will more than likely fire the executive.  A salesman depends upon other people to buy his product, if they don’t then he fails.  A writer depends on people to read what he writes.  A store depends on people to buy their products.  So forth and so on.

There were times in history when a person could gain position of authority by force and hold it by force and/or threats of force.  In those days, it was cooperate with the leader or risked literally losing their head.  But, not anymore. Today, a person either supports you willingly or he doesn’t support you at all.  It’s a common fact that we are more open to people we like.  And we are more willing to support people we like. Being likeable accelerates influence.

But how do we garner the support of other people especially if we don’t necessarily know them?  The answer is simple we must think right toward people.  When we think right toward people, they will like and support us.  Almost daily a common scenario likes this takes place.  A group or committee convenes and the purpose is to consider names for a promotion, new job, club membership, an honor, etc.  The facilitator asks, “What is your feeling about so and so?”

Comments are shared.  Some names draw warm, positive comments while others draw negative, lukewarm statements.  Here is the interesting part: In nine out of ten cases, the “likeability” factor is the first thing mentioned.  And, in an overwhelmingly large number of cases, the “likeability” factor is given far more weight than the technical factor.

Right, wrong, fair, unfair the fact remains: We are lifted to higher levels by those who know us as likeable, personable individuals.  We are lifted one notch higher with every friend we make.  And, being likeable makes us lighter to lift!  Successful people follow a plan for liking people.  Do you?  You’ll be surprised that many people who make it to the top of their game have a formula for thinking right towards people.  And, you would be even more surprised to discover many of them have a clear, definite, even written plan for liking people.

Thinking right towards people removes frustration and stress.  The real test for thinking right toward people presents itself when things don’t go exactly the way we want.  How do we think when we’re passed over for promotion?  Or fail to win an officer position in a club we belong to? Or when we’re criticized for the job we’ve done?  I agree with David Schwartz when he said, “How we think when we lose determines how long it will be until we win again.”

As with many things in life, it all hinges on how we think about things.  And, we must remember thoughts breed like thoughts.  So if we want positive support from others, being likeable is a surefire way to get it.  Therefore we must maintain positive thoughts towards others.

Being likeable

David Joseph Schwartz’s seven tips to increasing the “likeability” factor:

  1. Make yourself lighter to lift.  Be likeable.  Practice being thee kind of person people like.  This wins their support and puts fuel in your success-building program.
  2. Take the initiative in building friendships.  Introduce yourself to others at every opportunity.  Make sure you get the other’s person name straight and make certain he gets your name straight too.  Drop a personal note to your friends you want to get to know better.
  3. Accept human differences and limitations.  Don’t expect anyone to be perfect.  Remember, the other person has a right to be different.  And don’t be a reformer.
  4. Tune into Channel P, The Good Thoughts Station.  Find qualities to like and admire in a person, not things to dislike.  And, dont let others prejudice your thinking about a third person.  Think  positive thoughts towards people — and get positive results.
  5. Practice conversation generosity.  Be like successful people.  Encourage others to talk.  Let the other person talk to you about their views, their opinions, their accomplishments.
  6. Practice courtesy all the time.  It makes other people feel better.  It makes you feel better too.
  7. Don’t blame others when you receive a setback.  Remember, how you think when you lose determines how long it will be until you win.

Day 24 – Sell Yourself First!

self yourself 1Can’t stress it enough times if we want to win in life we have to win in our own minds first.  I remember when I was in direct sales and the largest part of our profit margin was in recruiting.  My first full year I avoided recruiting and only wanted to sell the product.  I didn’t see recruiting at that time as selling our profit program.  And, I didn’t see anyone wanting to join the company with me and I thought I was taking advantage of folks by recruiting them because others would make a profit off their sales including me.  Needless to say, I didn’t recruit anyone the first year.

However, each year our company would offer us a chance to earn an all-expense paid trip during the first three months of the year.  Going into my second year with the company the trip was to Cancun to stay at an all-inclusive resort called “Moon Palace”.  Well I had a red hot burning desire to go BUT the caveat was I had to sponsor (recruit) two new people and they had to qualify with $1,200 in sales.

I floundered during my first attempts of sponsoring because I hadn’t sold myself on the idea that others wanted what I was offering… an opportunity to earn money selling the product.  But, I really really wanted to go on this trip it had become my burning desire.  Luckily, I read this book called The Aladdin Factor by Jack Canfield and Mark Hanson. This book really helped me to re-frame things and I was able to sell the idea and benefits of sponsoring to myself first.

Once I was sold, I was on fire.  What was the end result?  I sponsored six people more than enough to satisfy the sponsoring requirement to earn the trip.  And, I was promoted to Unit Leader and earned extra points towards a second trip for my husband at the time.  It was exciting and proved to be an intangible learning lesson.  That in order to win in life, I had to win in my own mind first.

I used the sheer power of faith to earn that trip.  I put up a sign of my affirmation everywhere on my ceiling, in my car, the refrigerator, the kitchen cabinets, my bathroom mirror.  I still remember what it said too….”I am joyfully receiving 36,000 points and promoting to Unit Leader by April 1, 2001 to enjoy an all inclusive vacation in Cancun.”  People chuckled when they got in my car and saw it plastered on both doors but I didn’t care.  I was  on a mission and wasn’t accepting defeat.

I was featured in our company magazine and I gained the cooperation of others and found favor in their eyes.  Today I am reminded that in order to win in life I have to win in my mind first.  I caught myself falling into the trap of preparing for the worst right here on the eve of my deepest desire coming true.  Instead of being filled with anticipation, eagerness, excitement, and enthusiasm, I allowed my mind to run wild.  I need to regain possession of my mind.  I must redirect and command it towards my goal.  I’m too close to allow undisciplined and sloppy thinking.

One of the greatest gifts we have been bestowed in life is free will.  Free will means we have complete control over our minds.  We can choose to think and believe whatever we want to think and believe. I choose to exercise that free will and believe that the more I direct and control my mind to see my desires unfolding and others fully cooperating with me the more I will enjoy the riches and reward of this life time.

Declaring our aim, adopting our aim, believing our aim, and going to work on our aim are the keys to unlocking what we want.  But we must sell ourselves first.  And, once we are sold, selling others is a cinch!

Day 19 – Seeds of Desire

Plant the seed of desire in your mind and it forms a nucleus with power to attract to itself everything needed for its fulfillment. – Robert Collier

Wow!  It’s hard to believe we’ve been  for 19 days now.  How are you coming along?  Are you keeping track of your desire-o-meter from day one?  Have you noticed a steady increase on your scale of how much you believe?  Does it fluctuate from day to day?  Does it fluctuate throughout the day?

Has your desire already manifested?  Have you seen any signs of it coming into fruition from the Universe?  Are you practicing rewriting the scenes of unwanted events during the day?  Are you still practicing your script before going to bed?  Playing make believe and acting as if?

Have you been incorporating autosuggestion into your nightly routine by giving your subconscious mind at least one directive and/or problem to solve before going to sleep?  Which method have you found to be the most comfortable for you to plant your seeds of desire?  Scripting?  Visualizing?  Meditation?  Autosuggestion? Playing make believe?  Acting AS IF? Something else? Or, a combination of several techniques?

I’m discovering scripting, autosuggestion, and acting AS IF are my favorites.  My desire-o-meter has climbed from a two to a steady six.  The more I script, rehearse, auto-suggest, and act AS IF the more solidly I believe that I’m on the verge of it manifesting. I am starting to see signs from the Universe that I’m getting closer to my desire unfolding.

I would love to hear from you and how your journey is unfolding.  Please share your reflections in the comment section below.

If you’re still hanging onto a dead dream of yesterday, laying flowers on its grave by the hour, you cannot be planting the seeds for a new dream to grow today. ~Joyce Chapman
