Don’t Be Pushed Around!

Don’t be pushed around by your environment. When you allow yourself to be pushed around by your environment you’re constantly reacting and being trained and conditioned by your circumstances. And oftentimes will leave you feeling fatigued by negative emotions such as worry, doubt, regret, anger, anxiety, depression, insecurity, and confusion.

Be the creator of your world and train your environment to respond to your spoken word, your visualizations, your affirmations, and your thought force in general. Then you are responding to your circumstances and empowering yourself with feelings of confidence, enthusiasm, joy, love, appreciation, freedom and so much more!

Your environment encompasses all you see and hear on a regular basis. Remember people are always expressing their views and sharing information with you. I agree with Epictus…“The key is to keep company with people who uplift you, whose presence calls forth your best.”

BEGIN NOW to be more discriminating in what you will and will not accept and/or tolerate in your personal environment and begin to train it by showing better judgment regarding where you go, what you do with your time, and who you do it with.

POWER TIP: Write down the five people you spend the most time with and think about the qualities you share with them, good or bad, spend more time with people who lift you up and distance yourself from those who bring you down.

NEED HELP?  Sometimes your mind just gets the best of you and you constantly find yourself back in the same position of being pushed around by your environment.  I can help you transform your thoughts so that you are equipped with the knowledge necessary to train your environment.  Book your session today!

Do This 1 Thing to Improve Your Circumstances

If you want it then learn to speak the language as if you already have it. Speak positively about and to your situation. Bless it with words of I have until you do!

Begin to become more aware of the words, phrases, and sentences you use when discussing situations in your life. If you wan to transform your financial situations speak and think in terms of increase, abundance, riches, maximums, expansion, growth, opulence, prosperity, wealth, and unlimited opportunity.

Not only do your words reveal the way you think, but they also affect the way you think. If 2018 is going to be your year, then align your thoughts and spoken word to reflect it as if you already have it.

Feel the Power!💪

Woohoo! A new year, a new month, a new challenge!!! Who’s doing this challenge with me starting January 1st? If you’re all in on Feel the Power challenge… post #feelthepower2018 in the comments below.👇

Can Thoughts Transform Into Reality?

“I am the creator of my reality.  Whatever I focus on I create.”  At least that’s what I read on a quote.  What do you think?  Do you believe it’s true?

I think it goes a little bit deeper.  Something more along the lines of “I am the creator of my reality.  Whatever my conditioned/habitual beliefs are I create a matching reality.”

From my experience, it is not so much that I think it and/or I focus on it as much as it is I have to be 100% committed in conditioning myself to believe it.  Law of Attraction is what it is.  It is an attractive, magnetic power of the Universe that draws similar energies together.

I think what is missing is the understanding in so much LOA propaganda is that I must convince myself first.  And depending upon how much I don’t believe it will determine how long it takes me to turn the tides of my mental thinking and create the reality I desire.

Why bother you might ask?  Because either way, we will create our reality…deliberately or not.  I agree with Bashar when he said “Everything is Energy and that’s all there is to it.  Match the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality.  It can be o other way.  This is NOT philosophy.  This is Physics.”

I love to challenge myself and my FB group each month.  This month’s challenge is Feel the Power.  And it’s all about using daily practices to condition  thoughts to align with a specific  goal so that  enough thought force is emitted to leverage LOA and create the experience desired.  It starts Jan 1 and is a 31-day challenge.

If you’re tired of living a Groundhog’s life that’s not yielding you the results that you desire, then join the challenge and follow me on Facebook .

Turn on the Power in You

You are a POWER HOUSE.  There is a principle of Power in you, according to Wallace D Wattles, in which you can use and apply in a certain way and overcome all “obstacles” and master all circumstances and conditions and become a great and powerful personality.

In order to do this you must use every gadget within your grasp:

  • Health is Power
  • Books are Power
  • Self-will is Power
  • Imagination is Power
  • Meditation is Power
  • Reason is Power
  • Love is Power
  • Gratitude is Power
  • Prayer is Power
  • Kindness is Power
  • Relationships are Power
  • Faith is Power

No one can exhaust the unlimited, innumerable possibilities of POWER within him.  This Power is the basic fact of the Universe.  There is hardly anything you want that you cannot have if you arouse yourself out of inertia and turn on the POWER in you!

That which enslaves us all and causes so many failures in life is mental and physical laziness aka inertia.  The Power which is in you, is also in the things around you and when you begin to arouse yourself out of inertia,  things will  begin to arrange themselves for your advantage.

Our monthly challenge Dreamcember is an excellent time to arouse yourself out of inertia and turn on the POWER in you because it’s never too late to be what you might of been.  Follow Choosing4me FB page daily to participate in the Dreamcember challenge.

What Might You Have Been?

It’s so hard to believe that we’re rounding into the last month of the year.  I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted but my life has been in a constant state of positive transformations the past few months.  I will post about it later.

Today I wanted to formally invite you to join our monthly challenge that my FB group Sisters On A Rise (SOAR) will be doing during the month of December.  It’s going to be a fun and exciting challenge and you’ll be so glad you did.

It’s time to make our dreams come true.    To prepare for the challenge you’ll need to watch this video and purchase I Declare by Joel Osteen.  See image for the guidelines of the Dreamcember challenge.  Then decide what’s the single most dream you want to achieve in 2018 and write it down on an index card.

We start December 1st!!!  So excited about this challenge and you will be too.

Cheers! ❤ ❤ ❤

I Choose to Control the Way I Respond

In any given situation we can react or we can respond.  It took me a long time to recognize the difference.  But I’m finally mastering it.  Whew!  Nevertheless, I have discover the power is in the pause.  Taking just that one moment to pause and think can make the difference between reacting versus responding.

When we react to adverse situations/outcomes, it typically comes from our insecurities or emotional wounds.  More than times than not, at least in my case, when choose to react things do not end favorably for all parties involved.  We either leave ourselves at a disadvantage and/or others.  When we react, it is an automatic kneejerk way of handling things.  I guess that’s why it’s call REact because we tend to do it over and over again until we choose a different way to respond.

I think most of us will agree that life events that leave us feeling like we have no control and/or is causing us to spiral out of control can be the most unsettling.  So how do we challenge ourselves to in controlling the way we respond when face with situations, people, outcomes beyond our control?  I thought you would never asked.

We can do one or more of the following.  By the way this is far from being an exhaustive list so feel free to drop your favorite way you challenge yourself in the comments because I’m all for learning more ways to practice control.  Here’s my short list:

  1. Wake up each day with the determination no matter what happens your number one priority is to feel good no matter what happens in your day.
  2. Reframe the situation in your mind by looking for the seed of benefit.  No matter what situation we are face with there is at least one positive aspect we can cling to and it’s our job to find it and keep giving thanks for it until the positive aspects begin to multiply and they will.
  3. Count our blessings.  Maybe it’s too difficult to find a positive aspect in whatever it is that’s beyond our control.  That’s when we have to count our blessings in  other areas of our lives.  We can give thanks for life itself, our limbs, our organs, our senses, our minds, our family, etc.  I think you get the picture.
  4. On a daily basis catch yourself in the act.  What are you thinking by default?  What are your pet peeves?  What are your do or die rules?  Where are you guilty of black and white thinking? Do you blame others constantly or do you take responsibility for what happens in your life and your outcomes? Are you in control of yourself? do you practice putting yourself in the other fella’s shoes to see how things look from their perspective?  Look for the breadcrumbs to figure out what causes your automatic reactions so that you can start to detect when the triggers are activated and press pause to figure out the best way to respond.
  5. Reflect on the ways you’ve been tripped up in the past and research and discover more win-win ways to handle it in the future.
  6. Learn the art of forgetting.  Sometimes we react because we have rehearsed stories from similar situations from our past which causes us to have extreme reactions whenever we feel we aren’t in control of something.
  7. Learn to let go of a need to control it.  Many times  wanting to be in control is resistance.  Learning to let go means we learn to surrender and understand that whatever is happening will somehow someway lead to our higher good and that it’s just a golden link in our chain.
  8. Imagine things working out in your favor by keeping a positive mindset and affirming a positive outcome and trust that Universe is always orchestrating on your behalf.
  9. Change your focus from what you cannot control to what you can either control or influence.

At the end of the day, it is most certain there will be times when things are out of our control, that’s the time to challenge ourselves on how we will choose to respond.  We always have control over how we choose to  respond.  Pause for the cause and choose to respond.   Remember to share your tips in the comments.  Thanks!

I Choose to Go the Distance

Sometimes we set goals enthusiastically as a result of a new day, new week, new month, new year, workshop, after a discussion with a friend, etc.   And I don’t know about you but I find that I  set some really really terrific goals and then fail to follow through.

I’ve been on this re-image my body campaign for about a six weeks or so.  About a month ago, I downloaded the SparkPeople App because someone referenced it in a FB group.

Well this one action has led to infinitely many good decisions towards taking action to re-image my body.  For instance one goal  that I’ve set is a mileage goal of 60 miles for the month of September.  That means I choose to go the distance regardless of what the scale says or how I perceive my body isn’t changing and put in 60 miles on the pavement.

Similarly, I have set a goal to do push ups, squats, leg lifts, bridges, crunches, donkey kicks, and lunges daily as well.  And I know with each mile, pushup, squat, leg lift, bridge, crunch, donkey kick, and lunge that it is changing me.  Small efforts performed repeatedly over time yields huge results if we just refuse to quit and persist with consistency.

Likewise, I know if I choose to do nothing that nothing will change.  Similarly, if I continue to make the same choices….I’ll get the same results.  It’ll just be another round of wash, rinse, and repeat.  Therefore, I’m choosing to choose for me!

I choose to make the effort and go the distance.  I can hardly wait to see what results with come of my action.  I love the Sparkpeople App because I’ve learned a lot about my eating habits and why I have failed in the past in re-imaging my body according to the vision that I have for myself.  The one action that I truly cannot wait to see my progress on is the 30 day Fiber Challenge that I decided to do five days ago.

With the SparkPeople 30 day Fiber Challenge, I’m prompted to consume 25-35 grams of fiber each day.  So far I’m on track and am already noticing some significant differences.  And , no I’m not an affiliate marketer for SparkPeople.  I’m a real person making real changes in my life and this tool by far has helped me in infinitely many ways.

I’m loving who I am becoming on this body re-image journey.  I am on my way….I can and I will go the distance!

I Choose to Do Whatever It Takes!

Great things have never been accomplished by playing it safe.  I’m not sure why we’re so afraid to take chances, to be counterintuitive, go all out, and do whatever it takes to get what we want from life.  If you want it, then you’ll do whatever it takes to get it.  Including pushing through and enduring looking and feeling foolish to get there.   Forget what people might think.  Forget what you might look like.  Drop the inner critic committee. And just do whatever it takes.

And by whatever it takes I don’t mean something illegal or stepping on the backs of others.  I mean taking personal responsibility, taking chances, stretching yourself, learning, shoring up your strengths, being aware and acknowledging your weaknesses, and going all out to get it done.

Sometimes whatever it takes may include saying  no to ourselves.  In order to reach some goals we have to decide what our highest priorities are and have the courage – pleasantly, smiling and non-apologetically- to say  no to other things.  And the way to do that is by having a “BIGGER yes burning inside.”

Sometimes whatever it takes may include cutting ties and/or distancing yourself from certain people and that’s okay too.  Most successful people have admitted to having to leaving some people behind in order to reach greater heights in their life.  Flying solo for a period of your life can be a very empowering and enriching experience.  I don’t know about you but I want all that life has to offer me and I’m done settling.

Sometimes whatever it takes may include ignoring “reality”.  I have noticed a pattern with people who achieve great things.  They have become masters in ignoring “reality” and disciplining themselves to think what they want to think and feel what they want to feel.  You get more of what you focus on.  Therefore the more you focus on what is already happening…the more of it you will get.  The more you focus on past mistakes and letdowns…the more of it you will get.  Instead of focusing on what is and what has passed….focus on what you want and do whatever it takes.

I’m going for what I want from life and I’m willing to do whatever it takes.  See you at the top!

Cheers! ♥♥♥

Be Intentional!

new image

I love when the Universe provides me with confirmation that I am being guided in a certain direction.  It all started yesterday with a conversation with a good friend who was sharing her affirmations and how her intent to manifest was progressing.  I love it when someone has a catch phrase that stands out and sticks with me.

I had a serious ah-ha moment when she shared with me one of her affirmations.  She shared with me her affirmation was “I am a winner.  I win all kinds of things like sweepstakes, gift cards, lotteries, contests, etc.”  She went on to share with me how her manifestations were proving that her affirmations were working such as she had won free concert tickets by dialing into a radio show.  She further explained that she was able to get through to the radio station to win the tickets for two with her first call.

Additionally, she shared how she had won $15 from scratch offs which she never plays because  you immediately find out if you’ve won or not.  She was very enthusiastic as she recounted how life was dealing her a winning hand from different avenues.  Needless to say it also had me enthusiastic by the time I ended my call with her.

Unfortunately, overnight I slipped back into old habits and didn’t do anything intentional to carry these good feelings and thoughts over into the next day.  However, as I mentioned earlier I love it when the Universe gives me confirmation.  Today I decided to start back listening to two Hick’s audios on YouTube.  The one I listened to today reinforced this concept about being intentional and not slipping into the habit of allowing life to tell me how to think and feel and what to believe.

Abraham gave this affirmation to one of the participants and I absolutely loved it….“I’m going to be known as the good feeling girl because everywhere I go people around me that come into my vibrational vicinity will feel my positive vibration.  My vibration is dominating, my vibration is dominating, my vibration is dominating!  I am a powerful, creative, and invincible being with pure positive energy flowing from me.  I’m flying high because I choose to!”

I got goosebumps just listening to it.  Just imagine how one’s life would changed if a person affirmed this day in and day out.  The reinforced messaged I received from the Universe today is to be intentional!  I’ve marked off the next 28 days to be intentional about who I want to become, what I want to have, and what I want to do.  How about you?  Will you be intentional too?  What will be your affirmation of intent?

Cheers! ♥♥♥
